2. God's Solution
Because of God's mercy and love, He has provided the way in which we can be forgiven of all our sins. The Bible says, "For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly" (Romans 5:6) and "but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)
Jesus Christ died upon the cross and took the punishment for the sins of those who would believe. Then, three days later God raised Him from the dead! Because He lives, He offers you forgiveness of sins.
