God’s Grace to Lincoln

Over the past week, we have seen God’s grace on display in Lincoln time and time again. Today, a group of us from the Living Waters Europe Ambassadors’ Academy conducted a lunchtime outreach in the city centre, and I was amazed to see all that the Lord did.

Due to another group of preachers in Lincoln, we had to move to a different part of the street. While it didn’t appear to be the best location, it was the right location for today’s ministry. The Lord ordained us to be in that very spot to reach those who needed to hear of salvation.

As the cold wind blew down the street, I started the preaching by speaking on “Steps to Peace with God.” A number of people, including students, stopped to listen. After explaining the gospel, eight people responded to the offer of John’s Gospel to find out more information.

Next up was Robert, who used the “Good Person Test.” A young man engaged with the preaching and listened to the good news. At the end of the message, the young man bowed his head and prayed to the Lord for rescue.

Andy was the next preacher; speaking from Acts 16:30-31, he asked the question, “What Must I Do to Be Saved?” A young lady from Australia listened to the preaching and spoke with Andy afterwards.

The final preacher for the day was Tim, who did a good job explaining sin and the work of Jesus. A Kurdish man listened and then chatted with Andy.

Throughout the outreach, team members were busy handing out tracts and chatting to many people. It was a really blessed time in Lincoln. During the outreach, we had nineteen people respond to the gospel by asking for copies of John’s Gospel. May the Lord save them all.
